CSTO Receives Armenia's Application to Revoke Afghanistan's Observer Status
The Secretariat of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) has received the application from the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia to initiate the process of revoking Afghanistan's observer status in the organization. According to a report by Armenpress, the CSTO PA Secretariat informed RIA Novosti about this.
“We confirm the receipt of a letter from the Chief of Staff of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, in which he requests to initiate the mechanism for revoking the observer status of the National Assembly of Afghanistan, in accordance with the regulations on observer status in the CSTO PA,” the CSTO PA Secretariat stated.
