Daniel Ioannisyan: NSS Should Start Criminal Prosecution Based on Russian 'Dosye' Investigation
Daniel Ioannisyan, the founder and program coordinator of the NGO 'Civil Society Enlightenment', wrote on his Facebook page: 'The National Security Service (NSS) should initiate criminal prosecution based on the investigation by the Russian 'Dosye' center. In particular, it is necessary to initiate a criminal case under Article 299 (state treason) and Article 302 (espionage) of the Criminal Code and investigate the actions of a number of individuals (including citizens of the Republic of Armenia and foreigners) who have cooperated with the special services of the Russian Federation to the detriment of the sovereignty of the Republic of Armenia. According to publications, among those individuals are also former NSS directors, Karlos Ghazaryan and Artur Vanetsyan. Furthermore, the NSS should take effective measures to identify Russian agents and their networks within its ranks (particularly in counterintelligence).'
