Lukashenko Announces Closure of the Border with Lithuania and Poland
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has announced that the Belarusian army will have to reinforce the border defenses with Lithuania, Poland, and Ukraine. According to him, he does not know what other actions the Western partners might take.
This was reported by RIA Novosti.
“We understand that they do not have many tricks left in their arsenal before provoking a hot war. That’s why we are forced to withdraw troops from the streets,” Lukashenko stated.
Lukashenko clarified that the border with Lithuania and Poland will be closed, while the defense on the border with Ukraine will be reinforced.
