Mandatory PCR Test Requirement for Entry into Georgia
Starting from September 15, every individual entering Georgia must present a PCR test result. This was announced by the Prime Minister of Georgia, Giorgi Gakharia, according to Aliq.ge.
He stated that the decision was made for the health of Georgian citizens and foreigners.
It is noteworthy that a decision was made the day before to lengthen the quarantine period for foreigners in Georgia to 8 days. This decision does not apply to Georgian citizens who have had contact with a person infected with the coronavirus.
