A KamAZ Loaded with Cement Raw Materials Crashed into Rocks and Overturned, One Injured

Today, on September 8, a serious traffic accident occurred in the Ararat region. Around 18:10, the driver of a KamAZ truck lost control while traveling towards Yerevan on the 80th km of the Yerevan-Meghri highway, in the Tigranashen turns. Under still unknown circumstances, the vehicle veered into the opposite traffic lane, crashed into rocks, and overturned.

According to reports, the driver has been transported to the Ararat hospital. The truck was loaded with cement raw materials, which spilled and partially blocked certain sections of the road. With the assistance of local citizens, the truck was righted using a crane, after which road maintenance workers who arrived promptly began cleanup operations.
