EU Council Chief Calls on Erdogan to Hold Consultations for Eastern Mediterranean Regulations
The President of the European Council, Charles Michel, held phone talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Sunday, during which he called for multilateral consultations to resolve the situation in the Eastern Mediterranean, TASS reports.
“The President of the European Council spoke with President Erdogan regarding the escalating tensions in the Eastern Mediterranean. He also urged for multilateral consultations to find peaceful and coordinated solutions to the issues in the Eastern Mediterranean,” he stated.
