Video: 30-Year-Old Accountant Embezzles 4,550,000 AMD from Supermarket Account

The Masis division of the police received information that the chief accountant of a supermarket in the Geghanist community had embezzled approximately 4,000,000 AMD from the specified LLC through bank transfers over the course of a month.

On August 22, a 30-year-old accountant from Yerevan was apprehended by the police in Masis. During the preparation of materials, it was revealed that from August 1 to 21, according to currently known data, she embezzled around 4,550,000 AMD from the LLC’s account and transferred the funds to her personal bank account.

A report was received from the director of the shopping center. A criminal case has been initiated regarding the embezzlement or misappropriation. Measures are being taken to clarify the circumstances. The investigation is ongoing.
