Three Indian Citizens Arrested for Illegally Crossing Georgian-Armenian Border
The employees of the Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia have arrested three citizens of the Republic of India following operational-investigative actions. This information was reported by aliq.ge.
According to the agency, the arrested individuals are accused of illegally and collectively crossing the state border of Georgia.
The investigation revealed that the defendants illegally crossed the state border of Georgia in a group from the Republic of Armenia. An investigation is currently underway.
This offense can lead to imprisonment for 4-5 years. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in 2020, 92 citizens from various countries were held accountable for illegally crossing or attempting to cross the state border of Georgia.
