Tragic Incident in Lori Province: GA-66 Truck Rolls into Gorge, 1 Fatality

On August 27, a tragic incident occurred in Lori Province. According to SHAMSHYAN.com, at around 6:45 PM, 44-year-old Seyran H., a resident of Alaverdi, was driving a GA-66 truck loaded with hay. Approximately 14 kilometers from the Akner neighborhood, in an area known as ‘Navi Dosh’ on the Aknerasar pasture, for reasons still unknown, the vehicle veered off the roadway, rolling over about 30 meters before falling into a gorge.

As a result of the accident, Seyran H. died at the scene, while passengers 28-year-old Narek D. and 23-year-old Rafael M., both from Alaverdi, sustained injuries and were transported to the Alaverdi Medical Center.

In connection with the incident, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 242, Part 2 of the RA Criminal Code, per the decision of D. Khachatryan.
