Nikol Pashinyan Signs New Decision
The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, has signed a new decision, which states:
“Based on articles 33 and 34 of the Law on Normative Legal Acts of the Republic of Armenia:
- In the appendix of the decision N 730-L of June 11, 2018, on the approval of the charter of the State Inspection Body for Urban Development, Technical and Fire Safety of the Republic of Armenia, the following additions shall be made:
- 1st, 9th, 10th items and 1st, 2nd, and 5th subitems of item 12 shall be supplemented with the words ‘, space activities’ after the term ‘land use’.
- Item 11 shall be supplemented with the following content by adding subitem 5.1:
“5.1) In the field of space activities:
a. Implementing control over the compliance with the requirements established by laws and other normative legal acts in the field of space activities.
b. Conducting control over the mandatory conditions and requirements for the issuance of licenses for the conduct of space activities.
c. Conducting inspections in cases and manner specified by law.
d. Issuing mandatory orders (instructions) for the elimination of violations discovered in the field of space activities and monitoring their enforcement.
e. Imposing administrative penalties in cases and manner established by law.”
