Earthquake Recorded in Iran; Felt in Stepanakert
On August 25, at 22:25 local time (18:25 GMT), a 3.1 magnitude earthquake was recorded by the seismic monitoring network of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia at a depth of 12 km, located at geographical coordinates 39.40° N latitude and 47.90° E longitude, 27 km south of Parsabad, Iran. The intensity of the tremors in the epicentral area was measured at 4 on the Richter scale.
The earthquake was also felt in the city of Stepanakert, Nagorno-Karabakh, with an intensity of 2.
