BMW Hits Pedestrian Crossing Street at Unauthorized Section in Yerevan, Condition Critical
Today, on August 24, a traffic accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 1:00 PM, a 27-year-old man named Karen M. struck a pedestrian, a woman aged 55-60, with his BMW while she was crossing the street at an unauthorized section on Komitas Avenue.
According to Shamshyan.com, the driver did not flee the scene, and he called for Yerevan's emergency medical service 1-03, assisting the medical team who arrived promptly to transport the injured woman to University Hospital No. 1. Following this, he reported the incident to the operational management center of the Yerevan Road Police.
The driver underwent a sobriety test and was determined to be sober. The police are working to establish the identity of the injured pedestrian.
