Tragic Incident in Armavir Province: Father Accidentally Hits Son with 'GAZ-3129', Resulting in Death
Today, at around 09:15, a call was received at the Armavir police department from the emergency medical center that a medical team had responded to a residence in the village of Hatzik, where they discovered a male body in the yard. According to shamshyan.com, an operational group from the Armavir police department was dispatched to the scene. A team from the regional investigative department of the Armenian Investigative Committee also arrived.
Officers and investigators determined that the deceased was 38-year-old Andranik Y., a resident of the same village. Preliminary information suggests that around 09:00, 58-year-old Arthur Y., a resident of the same house, accidentally hit Andranik Y. with his 'GAZ-3129' vehicle in their yard, leading to Andranik's instant death.
Investigation actions were carried out at the scene, a criminal case was initiated, and several examinations were ordered, including a forensic examination of the body. The 1st platoon of the 1st company of the 2nd traffic police battalion also arrived at the site. By the order of the investigator, the vehicle was moved to a designated area of the Armavir police department for safekeeping. According to reports, the deceased was the son of the driver.
