The "KAMAZ" Parked by the Amulsar Roadside Will Remain There and Replace Our Vehicles, Shirak Buniatyan
The "KAMAZ" parked by the roadside will remain there and will replace our vehicles. This was stated by activist Shirak Buniatyan, who is fighting against the exploitation of the Amulsar mine, on his Facebook page.
“Yesterday we said to take it back, they did not take advantage of our kindness. They barely hid behind the wall of the police in panic. Now we will not allow them to take it away. And one thing for the guards reading this post: Guys, what you have done is no different from the acts of Ramil Safarov. It does not suit an Armenian to behave like a Turk. It is not too late to correct your mistakes,” he wrote.
Let us remind you that a protest against the exploitation of the Amulsar mine took place yesterday in Yerevan. Protest participants came from Jermuk by auto rally. Participant and Jermuk resident Armen Khachatryan noted that “Lydian Armenia,” taking advantage of the fact that 80% of Jermuk’s population is in Yerevan, attacked the peaceful residents, including women and children.
Later, Shirak Buniatyan announced in a Facebook live stream that the guards had pushed citizen vehicles out of the Amulsar area and had stationed a "KAMAZ" vehicle there.
Following this, the Armenian Environmental Front issued a statement mentioning that, “The situation in Amulsar is extremely tense. While some of the Amulsar guards came to Yerevan, nearly a hundred guards surrounded the guardians, moved the vehicle, and at this moment, they want to bring in equipment to the area. Help is being called from Amulsar at midnight. The police are currently protecting Lydian's equipment on site.”
