Sevan-Yerevan Highway Closed in Both Directions as Fishermen Protest
The Sevan-Yerevan highway is currently closed in both directions in the area of Hrazdan. Fishermen are staging a protest, demanding permission for large-scale fishing activities in Lake Sevan.
Vehicles are diverting around the impassable stretch of road through nearby fields. Gennady Sanosyan, the Governor of Gegharkunik Province, is currently negotiating with the protesters.
