Collision Between Opel and Sand-Filled KAMAZ in Kotayk Province Causes Injuries
A traffic accident occurred today in Kotayk Province. According to shamshyan.com, around 08:30, on the 27 km stretch of the Yerevan-Sevan highway, a collision took place between a KAMAZ truck driven by 21-year-old Karen V. from Aramus village and an Opel vehicle driven by 59-year-old Harutyun G. from Hrazdan city.
As a result of the accident, the driver of the Opel, Harutyun G., along with his passengers—64-year-old Anahit G. and 59-year-old Ophelia H., both residents of Hrazdan—sought medical assistance at the Abovyan Medical Center. Meanwhile, 27-year-old Lusine H., a resident of Kotayk Province, was taken to the Number 1 University Hospital.
Officers from the 1st platoon of the 3rd battalion of the 2nd traffic police detachment arrived at the scene. Investigations are underway regarding the incident.
