Brawl on Mashtots Avenue

On August 17, at 06:03, the police operations management center received a report from a citizen indicating that a group of individuals were fighting and shouting insults near the supermarket on Mashtots Avenue.

The operational group of the Central Police Department brought two young men with bodily injuries to the station from the mentioned location. They reported that they had been assaulted by unknown individuals but refused to file a complaint. Following this, one of them sought medical assistance at a hospital.

Based on measures taken within the framework of a criminal case initiated for hooliganism, the police determined that the young men were assaulted by four residents of the Noragyugh district in the capital. Thanks to the explanatory work of the police, they appeared at the Central Police Department and provided confessing testimonies. An investigation is underway.
