New Details Emerge on Gunshots in Yerevan: Identities of Victim and Shooter Revealed

According to SHAMSHYAN.com, on August 19, a resident of the Avan administrative district of Yerevan, 29-year-old Narek Aydinyan, presented himself to the central police department. He is suspected of injuring 25-year-old Mushegh Khachatryan, a resident of the Arabkir administrative district of Yerevan, with a gas pistol at the intersection of Armenakyan and Hovsepian streets in the Norq Marash administrative district.

As previously reported, gunshots were fired in Yerevan on August 18. Around 22:00, the central police department received a call from the number 1 university hospital that their emergency medical team had transported a citizen with injuries. Police officers from the center determined that the injuries were sustained at the intersection of Armenakyan and Hovsepian streets in Norq Marash, where blood-like traces had been discovered. The injuries were inflicted from shots fired from a gas pistol.
