Grenade Found in Gyumri

Today, on August 6, the "911" service received a report that an explosive device had been discovered in a polyethylene bag near Veolia Water Company on Dudko Street in Gyumri. This was reported by SHANTNEWS.am.

A team from the Shirak Regional Emergency Rescue Department was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that a mine clearance group was needed to ascertain whether the explosive device was training or combat-related.

After operational work, the regional rescue department informed our correspondent that the discovered item was a training grenade without a detonator. It has been transferred to the police department.
