Narcotic Substance Found in Prisoner's Shoe at Armavir Penitentiary

Visitors were used to transfer narcotics.

On August 4, around 17:00, personnel from the Ministry of Justice's Armavir penal institution conducted a personal search of detainee N. P. following a brief visit, acting on operational information. They discovered a package hidden in his shoe containing a substance resembling cannabis known among drug users as "chocolate" weighing 2.66 grams.

Materials are being prepared regarding the incident, and a forensic chemical examination has been ordered.
