Former NSS Director May Receive New Appointment
The newspaper "Hraparak" reports that Edward Martirosyan, the former director of the National Security Service (NSS), who was dismissed from his position on June 8, may soon receive a new appointment.
He has been offered the position of director of the Yerevan Thermal Power Plant, which operates under the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure led by Suren Papikyan. The current director is Sasun Khachatryan, the brother of the former governor of Syunik, Surik Khachatryan, who was appointed to this position in 2017.
