«Arms Tucked In, They Have Entered the Budget and are Distributing 120 Million Dollars in Bonuses. This is Obvious Thievery from the Budget» - Kocharian
The second president of Armenia and the main defendant in the March 1 case, Robert Kocharian, addressed the current economic situation in Armenia during an interview today, drawing comparisons between the years of his leadership and those of Serzh Sargsyan and Nikol Pashinyan.
In response to a remark by Gegham Manukyan, director of 'Country Media' news programs, suggesting that there may have been double-digit economic growth during that period, but as noted by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, the system was corrupt, Kocharian stated: “They have distributed 120 million dollars in bonuses, which were not foreseen by law. Just arms tucked in, they are deeply embedded in the budget, distributing 120 million dollars in bonuses. Is this corruption or not? This is obvious thievery from the budget.”
