Numbers Continue to be Falsified: Edmon Marukyan
Head of the Bright Armenia faction Edmon Marukyan has stated on his Facebook page: Numbers continue to be falsified... According to the preliminary data on the socio-economic situation for the first half of 2020, published by the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia, the economic decline was 4.7%, the volume of industrial production increased by 1.5%, the gross agricultural production volume increased by 1.7%, the decline in construction was 23.4%, retail turnover decreased by 11.1%, and the volume of services (excluding trade) decreased by 6.4%. Exports fell by 6.5%, while imports decreased by 12.9%.
These are the published official figures, and to express it briefly, I do not trust these numbers, because the country is in a deep economic crisis, and the consequences of this crisis are not reflected in these figures. Therefore, the numbers are again continuing to be falsified.
