Attacks by Azerbaijanis in Russia are also an attempt to destabilize Russia, says Pashinyan
Attacks by Azerbaijanis living in Russia are not only a manifestation of the Azerbaijani leadership's anti-Armenian rhetoric, but also an attempt to destabilize Russia and turn it into a stage for interethnic conflicts, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in an interview with RBC, which he shared on his Facebook page.
“There is no doubt that the Russian authorities have all the means and capabilities to prevent such developments,” Pashinyan said. At the same time, the Armenian Prime Minister stated that “our compatriots in Russia should recognize that they should not succumb to provocations and that there are third forces interested in destabilizing Russia, which have expansionist and anti-Armenian ambitions in the South Caucasus. We will not allow this.” Pashinyan noted that the interview will air at the beginning of next week.
