We Are in Contact with Our Russian Partners: Tatoyan

The Human Rights Defender of Armenia, Arman Tatoyan, wrote on his Facebook page: “I join my colleague, the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation, Tatiana Moskalkova’s call that all issues must be resolved in accordance with legal mechanisms.

I agree with the Federal Human Rights Commissioner in Russia that it is unacceptable to incite hatred and physical violence based on ethnic affiliation, as this undermines the foundations of human rights and freedoms, which can lead to mass violations and irretrievable losses.

We are in contact with our Russian partners regarding the protection of our compatriots' rights.”
