The Armenian Ambassador in Russia Sends a Message to the Armenian Community

The Armenian Ambassador to the Russian Federation, Vardan Toghanyan, has sent a message to Armenians living in Russia regarding the organization of rallies. According to Armenpress, Toghanyan mentioned in his message that the embassy has been receiving information every minute about individuals intending to organize various actions, with some users on social media calling for gatherings in different parts of Moscow and other Russian cities.

"Sharing the anxiety and emotional state of each one of you, I must emphasize that such calls cannot contribute to the resolution of the problems we face in this situation. In this regard, I urge each of you not to participate in any initiatives, rallies, or gatherings. These types of actions are intended as a response to heighten tensions within society," said Toghanyan.

The ambassador also requested that no calls of this nature be made on social media, and that videos and photos which could exacerbate the already tense situation should not be circulated. He emphasized the importance of remaining vigilant in any situation.

Toghanyan underscored the necessity of solidarity in these situations, presenting a united front, coordinating actions, and halting any provocative manifestations. "We continue to operate in an operational mode and are in constant contact with our community institutions and Russian authorities. Our common goal is to act within the framework of Russian legislation," Toghanyan concluded.
