Strong Wind Breaks Tree Near Cafe on Yerevan Street, Damages Two Umbrellas

On July 21, at 19:15, the National Crisis Management Center received a report that a tree had fallen in the area of the café belonging to “Anushik Khojoyan” LLC on Yerevan Street. The Ministry of Emergency Situations’ press service informs that a firefighting unit from the regional rescue department of Syunik has been dispatched to the scene.

It was found that two fir trees (approximately 16 meters long and 30 cm in diameter) were broken by strong winds and damaged two of the café's umbrellas. The rescuers cut up the damaged trees and removed them from the café area.
