After Failed Azerbaijani Attack, Intelligence Surveillance is Underway: Ministry Spokesperson
On July 21, around 22:30, following a failed attack by an Azerbaijani special forces unit directed at the "Anvakh" position in the northeastern section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border, intelligence surveillance is currently being conducted. This was reported by the spokesperson of the Armenian Ministry of Defense, Shushan Stepanyan, on her Facebook page.
Stepanyan had previously informed that relative calm has been maintained at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border during the night of July 21 to 22, as well as at the present time. However, the adversary has violated the ceasefire regime seven times in separate sections of the border, firing approximately 20 shots towards Armenian positions.
In an earlier post, the spokesperson noted that despite the absence of gunfire as of 00:47, the leadership of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces does not have control over the situation.
