My Brother's Son Was Very Devoted to Our Armenian Army and He Fell as a Hero: Uncle of Fallen Garush Hambardzumyan

At the "Yerablur" military pantheon, a ceremony was held for the burial of Major Garush Hambardzumyan, who died from enemy fire in the northeastern section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.

“Dear compatriots, today we are all mourning greatly, having lost our sons who fought for the prosperity of our future and the welfare of future generations,” said his uncle prior to the burial at Yerablur. “My brother's son was very devoted to our Armenian army, and he fell as a hero. Eternal glory to all our fallen; they are alive, they will live as long as we are here. Garush, you have two brave sons; they will grow up and complete the unfinished work you left behind.”
