Gunshots in Malatia-Sebastia at the Famous Lovers' Park

On July 14, an extraordinary incident took place in Yerevan. At approximately 22:40, the Malatia Police Department received a report about gunfire heard near Lovers' Park, located adjacent to school number 190 in the Southwestern B2 neighborhood.

According to shamshyan.com, an operational group from the Malatia Police Department arrived at the scene, led by department head Igor Mesropyan.

Based on the operational information received, the shots were fired from a gas pistol. Also present at the scene were Arthur Zakaryan, the deputy head of the Yerevan city police department, and Karen Grigoryan, the head of the criminal investigation department. The prosecutor of the Malatia-Sebastia administrative district also arrived.
