It is Good that the UN Condemns Azerbaijan’s Shelling of Armenia: Joel Fordevind

Armenia’s Deputy Speaker of Parliament Alen Simonian writes that the co-chair of the Armenia-Netherlands Friendship Group, his colleague Joel Fordevind, has joined various parliamentary representatives from different countries in condemning the escalation of the situation by Azerbaijan at the border.

It is noteworthy that Joel Fordevind wrote on his Twitter microblog: “It is good that the UN condemns Azerbaijan’s shelling of Armenia. This is a provocation that could lead to a new war over Nagorno-Karabakh. I hope that the OSCE can mediate and restore peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia.”
