Azerbaijani Special Services Disseminate Photos of Armenian Soldiers Killed in 2016

As already noted by the ‘Information Verification Center,’ against the backdrop of the existing tension at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, an attempt is being made by the adversary to spread false information on social networks, claiming that there are casualties in the Armed Forces of Armenia.

“To make the disseminated lies credible, Azerbaijani special services have started attaching photographs of Armenian servicemen who were killed during the April military operations, as well as old videos taken at positions, presenting them as fresh materials recorded in the Tavush region. In this way, Azerbaijani forgers are trying to create panic among Armenian users and convince their internal audience that the Armed Forces of Armenia are hiding the actual losses.

Follow only official news sources, and questionable and unreliable information can be reported to the ‘Information Verification Center,’ where we will verify the authenticity of the news and provide you with updates on the matter,” states the announcement from the Information Verification Center.
