Four Cars Collide on Ijevan-Dilijan Road, One Injured is 3 Years Old

On July 12, at 19:20, the National Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia received a report about a traffic accident on the Ijevan-Dilijan section of the M-4 highway, specifically at the 20th kilometer. There are reported injuries.

Two fire and rescue teams from the Tavush regional rescue department were deployed to the scene.

It was determined that four vehicles, including an Opel Vectra (driver: Hambardzum M.), Volkswagen Vento, Toyota Camry, and Mercedes-Benz E-Class, collided at the 19th kilometer of the Ijevan-Dilijan highway.

Prior to the arrival of rescuers, passengers from the Opel Vectra (Nune A., born in 1990, and Davit M., born in 2017) were taken to Dilijan Medical Center, where doctors assessed their health condition as satisfactory.

Rescuers also disconnected the power from the Volkswagen Vento.
