Five Hospitalized After Accident on Stepanakert-Askeran Road

On July 9, at around 14:50, an accident occurred on the 8th kilometer of the Stepanakert-Askeran road, involving a collision between a "Volkswagen Golf" and a "Ford Transit" vehicle.

According to preliminary data, the cause of the incident was the "Volkswagen Golf," which veered into the opposite lane while attempting to overtake another vehicle. The drivers of both cars and three passengers sustained injuries and have been transported to relevant medical facilities.

The police of the Republic of Artsakh urge and demand adherence to road traffic rules and vigilance, as any negligence can lead to road traffic accidents, especially considering the increased vehicle movement due to the ongoing draft in the republic.
