40-Year-Old Electrician Electrocuted and Died Near Yerevan's Karmir Blur Cemetery
A tragic incident occurred in Yerevan on June 30. Around 12:00 PM, the police received a report from the Surb Astvatsamayr Medical Center that a man had been brought in dead. This was reported by shamshyan.com.
The operational group of the Shengavit Division of the Police went to the hospital, where it was found that the deceased was 40-year-old Askhanaz G. from the Aragats village in the Aragatsotn region.
Police determined that at approximately 10:30 AM on the same day, while working on an electrical pole near the Karmir Blur cemetery in the Shengavit administrative district, he was electrocuted and died on the spot.
Investigative materials are being prepared by the Shengavit Division’s investigative department. A forensic examination has been assigned by investigator Margaryan.
According to the source, the deceased was employed as an electrician at Aparan EChS LLC.
