Enforcement Officers Evict Entire Family in Yerevan Without Notice
A resident of Yerevan, 40-year-old Sargis Balakchyan, has reported that enforcement officers arrived without any prior warning or notification at their home located on Norq Marash Street 15/1, to evict his family of six, which includes three minor children aged 8, 10, and 15. This was reported by Shamshyan.com.
The enforcement officers justified their actions by stating that “Ardshinbank” had filed a lawsuit, and their home, collateralized with the bank, was sold at auction. Now, the new buyer demands that the house be vacated.
S. Balakchyan also mentioned that he has a lawyer, who was also not properly notified about the eviction order. As of now, the enforcement officers are removing the family’s belongings and transferring them to one of the neighbors' houses, despite the fact that one of the children, his 15-year-old daughter, has health issues, with a recorded temperature of 37.1 degrees Celsius, as noted by the dispatched emergency medical team.
S. Balakchyan, along with his lawyer, has approached the enforcement officers to request a two-week extension for the family to relocate, but they have refused, disregarding the health condition of the sick child.
