Dramatic Car Accident in Aragatsotn Province; Vehicle Turns to Scrap Metal, Injuries Reported
Today, June 28, a major car accident occurred in Aragatsotn Province. Around 1:30 PM, 40-year-old Robert Melkonyan from Yerevan was traveling in a Nissan Teana on the 30th kilometer of the Yerevan–Gyumri highway towards Gyumri when, under still unknown circumstances, he veered off the roadway, crashed into concrete barriers, and crossed into the oncoming traffic lane.
According to Shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, the driver suffered bodily injuries and was transported to the 'Ashtarak' medical center. Citizens were the first to provide assistance, and doctors from Ashtarak Hospital acted swiftly.
