Accident in Verin Artashat: Collision Involving VAZ-2106, VAZ-2109, and Ford Mondeo

On June 22, at 23:28, the National Crisis Management Center received a report that an accident occurred at the beginning of the village of Verin Artashat, involving a collision of vehicles. There are injuries reported.

Emergency services dispatched a firefighting and rescue team from the Ararat regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations to the scene. It was determined that the vehicles involved in the collision were a VAZ-2106 (driver: Norik A.), a VAZ-2109 (driver: Ashot T., born in 1988), and a Ford Mondeo (driver: Armen Kh.).

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, Ashot T. was transported to the “Erebuni” Medical Center, where doctors assessed his condition as serious.

The rescuers disconnected the power supply to the vehicles and closed the valves of the gas cylinders.
