Community Kindergartens Temporarily Closed in Yerevan
As a result of discussions between the Yerevan Mayor's Office and the Armenian government’s commandant's office, it has been decided to temporarily close community kindergartens starting June 22. This information was provided by the press secretary of the Yerevan Mayor, Hakob Karapetyan.
“In each administrative district, only one or two kindergartens will operate, where children currently attending other kindergartens can go. Below is a list of kindergartens in the administrative districts that will accept children:
- Central – No. 1
- Arabkir – No. 25, No. 31
- Ajapnyak – No. 47, No. 50
- Avan – No. 52
- Davitashen – No. 60, No. 62
- Erebuni – No. 64, No. 66
- Malatia-Sebastia – No. 91, No. 96
- Nor Nork – No. 100, No. 114
- Norq-Marash – No. 122
- Nubarashen – No. 125
- Shengavit – No. 126, No. 139
- Kanaqer-Zeytun – No. 162, No. 157
Parents can contact the directors of their kindergartens to inform them of their intention to send their child to a kindergarten. The directors will organize the process with the educational departments of their staff, allocating children according to the kindergartens and groups,” noted Karapetyan.
