Collision Between Cement Truck and Cement-Laden ZIL Results in Injuries

A major traffic accident occurred in the Ararat province on June 17. At approximately 10:20 AM, a ZIL truck collided with a FAW vehicle on the 18 km stretch of the Yerevan-Yeraskh highway. This was reported by shamshyan.com.

As a result of the collision, the ZIL truck, which was loaded with bags of cement, overturned, spilling cement across the entire length of the road, while the FAW crashed into the metal barriers.

Following the accident, both drivers received initial medical assistance from doctors at the Artashat and Masis hospitals who arrived at the scene and were later transferred to the Erebuni Medical Center. Investigations into the incident are underway, and the police are working to identify the drivers taken to the hospital.
