Ahead of the National Assembly Session, 'My Step' Carefully 'Worked' with Suspicious MPs: 'Fact'

'Fact' newspaper reports: 'Yesterday, the National Assembly approved the prosecutor general's requests to initiate criminal proceedings against the leader of the Prosperous Armenia faction, Gagik Tsarukyan, and to deprive him of his freedom. More precisely, it was not the National Assembly as a whole that voted, but only Nikol Pashinyan's faction. While the faction voted unanimously on the surface, there have actually been quite deep-seated issues.

According to information from 'Fact', ahead of the session, careful 'work' was done with MPs, especially with the suspected ones, to ensure there were no 'surprises'. Our sources insist that there are significant discontentments within the 'My Step' faction, not only related to recent events.

A number of MPs have reportedly expressed their dissatisfaction in private, complaining that they are forced to write various statuses on social media, distribute materials, and publicly defend decisions that are, to say the least, bizarre, which they feel ashamed of. Notably, similar complaints have also been reported concerning several representatives of the executive branch.'
