Update on COVID-19 Related Deaths

As of June 16 at 11:00 AM, a total of 17,489 cases of coronavirus disease have been confirmed, of which 6,571 individuals have recovered and 293 have died. Currently, there are 10,529 patients receiving treatment for the virus. A total of 85,556 tests have been conducted.

Today, there are 425 new confirmed cases of coronavirus and 295 recoveries. Regarding the deaths, the Ministry of Health reports that the patients were aged 81 (female), 82 (male), 65 (female), 72 (female), 70 (female), 63 (male), 86 (female), and 88 (male). All of them had accompanying chronic diseases.

On the previous day, there were two recorded deaths where patients confirmed with the coronavirus died from other diseases. The total number of such cases is 96.
