Wolves Attack Sheep in Amasia at Night
Last night, a pack of wolves attacked and slaughtered the sheep belonging to Tigran Hovsepyan, a resident of the Amasia community. The animals were in an outdoor pen in the yard at night, and in the morning, the owner noticed traces of blood in the yard. Upon approaching the pen, he discovered the sheep were mauled.
According to Shantnews, out of 23 sheep, 4 were slaughtered right in the yard, while 10 others were found in nearby fields and areas around the house. The remaining sheep were injured, with lacerations, and the meat of the slaughtered sheep was deemed unfit for consumption. Tigran Hovsepyan's farm incurred damages of about one million drams.
