Armenian Consul Attacked in Central Moscow
In central Moscow, an unknown assailant attacked Tigran Kondakhchyan, the Armenian Deputy Consul of the Kyrgyzstan Embassy, according to ria.ru.
Kondakhchyan reported that he had a dispute with an unidentified young man near the "Dobrininskaya" metro station. The argument escalated into a brawl during which the diplomat sustained a blow to the head.
Following the incident, the Deputy Consul filed a report with the police. The assailant is currently being sought by authorities.
Tigran Kondakhchyan has been working at the Kyrgyzstan Embassy in Moscow since 2016.
