Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan wrote on his Facebook page: “Dear ones, please make your own announcement during Facebook Live on your page, or record the announcement and post it on your page. Below is the text. Thank you for your support.

Attention, speaking is Armenian citizen Thisinch Thisinchyan (this is an option; choose how to introduce yourself). Dear compatriots, there is a coronavirus pandemic in the Republic of Armenia.

I urge all of you to wear masks and only remove them when eating. The mask should be worn in such a way that it covers your nose and mouth. Regularly disinfect your hands and do not touch your face with unwashed hands.

Maintain a social distance of one and a half meters and avoid contact without masks with individuals who are not members of your family. Dear compatriots, wearing masks will save hundreds of lives.

Masks need to be changed every three to four hours. You can use not only factory-made masks but also masks made by yourself.

Dear compatriots, I thank our compatriots who adhere to the anti-epidemic rules or even if they have not adhered to them in the past, will start complying with them after this call.”
