Mustafa al-Kadhimi Reveals Assassination Plot Against Him
The Prime Minister of Iraq, Mustafa al-Kadhimi, has announced via television that he has received information regarding an assassination plot against him. According to life.ru, during a video address, the Prime Minister stated, "I have received a report from the security services about plans to kill me during my visit to Mosul."
Kadhimi emphasized that he is ready to work for Iraq until his last breath and characterized the preparation of the assassination as an attempt to intimidate him and an act of blackmail.
