Truck Overturns After Leaving Road in Saravan

On June 10, at 18:35, the National Crisis Management Center received a report of a traffic accident near the village of Saravan, with at least one injured. This information was provided by the Ministry of Emergency Situations' Information and Public Relations Department.

A firefighting and rescue team from the Vayots Dzor Regional Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that at kilometer 154 of the M-2 roadway, a truck belonging to 'Arge Business' LLC, a Mercedes model (driver: Mkhihtar G., born in 1961) had left the roadway and overturned into a roadside ravine.

Paramedics provided the driver with necessary medical assistance on-site. Rescuers also cut off the power to the vehicle. Special equipment is needed to remove the truck from the roadway.
