I Am Suspending My Activities in the 'Republic' Party: Tehmine Vardanyan
Tehmine Vardanyan, a member of the Yerevan City Council from the 'Light' faction, announced on her Facebook page: 'As of today, I am suspending my activities in the 'Republic' party. Everything that has a beginning also has an end. My party activities have given me significant experience and a clear political position to fight for justice and principles. I am grateful for this.'
'The key to any relationship is honesty and sincerity. Unfortunately, I find that I have exhausted myself in this phase of my party activity. I have decided to cease my involvement with the 'Republic' party and continue my path as an independent political figure. This, decisively, is the honest choice. Ignoring this would mean betraying myself and my values.'
'I am moving forward, turning a crucial, yet old page in my life and opening a new political chapter. Through my activities, I will seek to reaffirm that my new and independent path is justified. I will continue my work in the Yerevan City Council and, as always, I will work for Yerevan and its citizens. I wish my colleagues effective and impartial work.'
