Ararat Region Reports 17 Deaths Amid Ongoing Health Crisis

Currently, there are 17 deaths and 1,165 infections recorded in the Ararat region, with 474 recoveries. This information was provided by Ararat Governor Garik Sargsyan during a press briefing with journalists at the National Assembly today.

"The others are either receiving outpatient treatment or are hospitalized. According to new regulations, our outpatient clinics are addressing mild cases, while complex cases are being treated at re-profiled or infectious disease centers. The Artashat hospital has been re-profiled as an infectious hospital, and for the past two days, the Vedi hospital has also operated as an infectious hospital. The Artashat hospital can accommodate 125 patients, while Vedi hospital can handle up to 100," he noted.
