Protest in Tehran in Front of Armenian Embassy: Demanding to Sever Relations
Protesters set fire to the Israeli flag, demanding that Armenia sever diplomatic relations with that country. This is reported by the "Arax" weekly.
On Tuesday, June 9, dozens of people gathered in front of the Armenian embassy in Tehran to express their discontent with the opening of the Israeli embassy in Armenia. They called on Yerevan to adopt a hostile stance towards Tel Aviv.
Official Yerevan had previously clarified that Armenia adjusts its relations with third countries based on its national interests, while emphasizing that Armenia's relationships with other countries should never negatively impact the friendly relations between Armenia and Iran.
